Bentley Continental GTO by Onyx

No, it’s not a Pontiac GTO, this is the new Bentley Continental GT Platinum GTO tuned by the team at Onyx. They have taken this “Camry for rich folks” car, and unleashed a stunning package to transform the way it looks and performs. Onyx was able to boost the W12 engine that previously boasted 550 horsepower, and push it beyond 640 hp. Aerodynamic enhancements to theBentley Continental GT include a re-styled front bumper with carbon fiber, LED daytime running lights, and a carbon fiber front splitter. Additions to the rear consist of a new rear bumper with carbon fiber diffuser and deck lid spoiler.Onyx was able to fit large 22-inch matte black wheels on the Bentley Platinum GTO, and more information is available in the press release after the jump.

Onyx are back and this time have moved away from the SUV market to concentrate on one of britains top luxury vehicles the Bentley continetal GT. The conversion consists of a revised front bumper with carbon fibre inserts, DRL’s and a carbon fibre lower splitter. The sides have been widened with some clean cut arches and sideskirts. Lastly but certainly not least is the rear with a revised rear bumper and smashing looking rear carbon fibre difusser. The boot lid has also been complimented with a carbon fibre touch in the form of a deck spoiler. Adding to the exterior conversion ONYX also have the additional extras that they offer to all there vehicles, this being bespoke bufallo hide leather interior and carbon fibre interior panelling. As always the Irish tuners have there own suspension lowering system, the engine power upgrade which they havent given an exact figure yet but have said that for the normal GT being 550BHP this will be over the 640BHP mark. Lastly they have given the car a set of there own 22″ TPM matt black wheels which gives the vehicle a great stance. Onyx have said that they have another 2 wheel designs that they will be launching shortly and this bentley conversion will be on the market from may this year. While a bunch of idiots at Chrysler are busy decorating outdated models and putting their badge on Lancias, their real engineers are busy in the backroom developing new stunning models in hope to save the company before even Fiat gets fed up with it! As revealed through their restructuring plan last year, the 300C is one of the models which will get an extreme makeover.
And here’s another picture of what to expect, leaked from an official presentation. As you notice, the new generation will come with a new face with bigger and sleeker headlights and apparently LEDs, plus a new chrome grille. Now these facts are not really worthwhile, but at least they confirm that Chrysler won’t compromise on the cool Gansgsta looks of the 300C.
As for the engines, the car will get tweaked versions of the current V6, V8 HEMI and high performance SRT8 edition, but it will come with a lot of new high-tech features. Also the new interior will feature uptodate equipments and safety features.
So if you are a Gangsta, hold on to your dirty money until this comes out later this year!

New york auto Show 2011

The New York auto show happens at the end of the international auto show season, is fairly small, and above all was over-shadowed by the Shanghai International Auto Show this year. Consequently, there were few surprises and big global debuts. During the first day, updates for several small cars were revealed, and more efficient engines entered the mix.

Volkswagen made New York the last station of a spectacular around-the-world media event, starting in Shanghai and then going to Berlin and finally NYC, unveiling its second-only redesign to the iconic Beetle, the best and longest selling car in history, in hopes of finding a wider appeal as high fuel prices drive demand for smaller cars.
Porsche showed two awesome hybrid cars, one of it a big surprise (although already shown in Geneva for the first time). While the Panamera hybrid is probably the nicest (and also most expensive) hybrid car you can buy, this was not the big surprise. Shocking was the replica of the first diesel-electric car ever built - 111 years ago by Ferdinand Porsche! 
It is actually sad to learn that in the year 2011, mankind just found back to the concept of maximum efficiency in individual transportation, which was already envisioned and put into practice by Ferdinand Porsche over one century ago in 1900.

A paparazzi drawing moment was engineered by Audi, which didn't show any debut car at all but peppered their press conference with the surprising appearance of Steven Colbert, who made this the most entertaining and funny moment of the day

2011 Chrysler 300C Executive Series

Chrysler is on a mission to prove that their 300 is a car worth producing and apparently they think their path to success includes a series of different variants at the 2011 New York Auto Show. Next to the 300 SRT8, Chrysler has also brought the 300C Executive Series, a model designed to become the most luxurious Chrysler flagship sedan ever. The new edition will be offered with ultra-premium leather, world-class refinement and handling, and state-of-the-art safety and connectivity features. The new edition will go on sale in Fall 2011.
The Chrysler 300C Executive Series will be distinguished by a chromed fascia, mirror, and door handle accents with a unique platinum chrome finish. The platinum chrome finish extends to the grille surround and the platinum-chrome sculpted grille. The luxury continues for the interior as the 300C receives a plethora of leather adornments. There is a Mochachino or Black Poltrona Frau "Foligno" leather-wrapped instrument panel, cluster brow, center console side panels, and upper front- and rear-door panels, which is combined with premium Nappa leather on the door armrest, bolster, and center console armrest. The seats will be covered in a two-tone Mochachino or Black Nappa leather and will be combined with a Natural Pore Mocha or Pore Gray real wood trim finished in a low-gloss.
The luxurious add-ons continue with a long range of options including a Uconnect Touch 8.4N with Garmin navigation, a 160-mph LED-illuminated instrument cluster with driver-selectable color EVIC, and a HomeLink universal transceiver. The less exciting technological options include power-adjustable pedals with memory, a power backlight sunshade, power-folding chromed exterior mirrors with memory, and auto-dimming and auto-tilt in Reverse. Finishing the exterior of the 300C Executive Series are premium 18-ounce berber floor mats with nubuck trim, satin chrome lower door sills with the "Chrysler" logo, LED illuminated interior door handles, and front and rear map pockets.

2010 Koenigsegg Agera R Car

 2010 Koenigsegg Agera R  a Brief Review:;
It’s not every day that Koenigsegg reveals a new super car, but the Koenigsegg Agera R is more than a welcome sight.  This Swedish stunner will be one of the fastest debuts at the Geneva Motor Show this week, with more muscle than a freight train under the hood.  The Agera R is powered by a 5.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with an astounding 1,115 horsepower.  For the record, that’s 100 more horsepower than Koenigsegg’s last supercar, the Trevita.  That power will push the Agera R well into the 200 mph range in a matter of seconds.
Aside from the muscle, the Koenigsegg Agera R is a machine of rare beauty.  This version, one of likely just a few to be produced, features a Speed Racer colorway with an emphasis on pure white with black and red accents.  The interior feels like the cockpit of a fighter jet, but not without the comfort and luxury of a million-plus sports car.  In total, the design screams “performance” at a volume that is sure to shatter ear drums, but you won’t need to hear the power from this engine, you will feel it.
